As a traveler, I have used computers at public libraries in Australia, NZ free of charge without any library card, as quoted below. Can I do same at public libraries in Tokyo?
On a recent trip to TOkyo, I forgot to pack my laptop! I went to a public library near my hotel at Haneda Airport, and asked this question. but none of the librarians speak English, and understood me. I don’t speak Japanese.
New Zealand. I quote Auckland Council Libraries, Christchurch City Council Libraies, and Wellington City Libraries respectively.
If you do not have a library card or PIN/password, speak with a staff member to log in as a guest.
Australia. I quote City of Adelaide, and Perth respectively.
A maximum of one-hour computer use per visitor per day is available.
Non-members may request a guest pass to use the public computers for up to 40 minutes per day.
