I have Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows 8.1 Pro.
I have several GPOs linked to the domain root that have only computer settings that are not being applied. There are no conflicts in settings in any GPOs.
GPOs with computer settings are not present in the output of gpresult /r.
I have tried enabling processing loop back with no results.
What am I missing?
On a gpo that target computer setting you must be sure that the user is 'authentified user' (its the default there when you create a new gpo).
If you configure a user on the gpo tab, to like narrow down where the gpo apply, then the gpo is now evaluated at the user level.
Be sure the gpo link is enable and enforced.
To fully test do a gpupdate /force and restart the computer
